I was on a train to somewhere special, my destination unknown to me. I had no place to call home but to you now, that’s when it struck me, like a bolt of lightning. My body tumbled out of the train, my fall was broken by a puddle of rain, so I closed my eyes, and I looked back to those most wise, that’s where I found the spot within me uncivilized. As I regained my ability to stand up, I took a step into the wrong direction, thankfully there was something there to guide me, a gust of wind, the flow of a stream. My mind melted into the terrain, the problems I once had seemed so mundane, so I closed my eyes and looked back to those most wise, that’s where I found the spot within me, uncivilized. I walked towards the failing light of the setting sun, a quick glance to my right, revealed a scene of fire and plight. A woodland cathedral, its beauty once unrivaled, slashed and burned and thrown away like the elders of yesterday.

The youngest of the tribe, came to me last night, with a solemn stare, they’re telling me to fight, the spirits that used to cure us, they don’t trust us, it’s all my fault. Say the elders, who claim they’re better, cause they’re higher on the ladder. There’s a fire, in the woodland, that will burn it to the ground. Came out of my house last night, looked up to the stars above my head. I found out, the balance was off, I came to an ancient understanding. I came out of my house last night, looked to the ground beneath my feet. I found out, the balance was off, I know now, what I want for them. A few days later, the cub came back, with a secret, there was an attack, I had to go on the road, to a place where wisdom was told, I read of a valley to the north. I sailed across the sea from the port. When I landed on the shore, the mountains told me their lore. I don’t care, said all the bears, treat it like your own, and we’re free from the snares.

Sculptors 09:50
The land was worn, by the feet of the frost, it withered away tree tops, only the hills survived. The spirit of the crow, descended from the stars, soaring above the hills. The earth awoke, at the sight and the sound of the crow, slowly the hills grow. And from above they watched, sculptors of bear and crow. As the ground began to warm, the grass began to grow, the crow turned towards the earth. It reaps what it sows, nurtured by the mountain streams flow, what’s taken cannot be regrown. Fingers of root and ore, stretch for the winged one, birthing the bearing lore. A creature for balance, was brought into existence. And the crow travels home. And from above they watched, sculptors of bear and crow. The feet of the frost, withered away treetops. Forged in the stars, and from above they watched. Hills to mountains, carved into dens. Beasts born from winter landscapes. Souls spread across untrodden lands. Frosted leaves, moonlit paths.

Those who live in the south, they have chosen their route. The destruction they’ve caused, spirits left weak, now regaining power in the place that you seek. A relic of the ancients, buried within the caves in the north. The oaken door opens before me, revealing the Realm of the Greentrees. Follow the trail to its end, three moons past the town on the bend. I carry a weight on my shoulder, knowing the trail will get colder. Ascending towards the summit, led by the stars we orbit. Snow blows across the trail, an ancient set of stairs unveiled. The southern isle is shrouded, with a lingering darkness it’s clouded. The mist laid over the forest, as we prepare for the war before us. The arbors bestowed upon me, a valor as ancient as bark on the trees, I go off towards the road, southward to the young bears home. Gather arms, travel south, the age has come to take the oaken oath.

Greenhavens 06:10
The bears in the south, soldiers in the thousands, weathered away like valleys between mountains. The rivers will push and pull them away, out to the sea, become sand in the bay. The frost melts away as the briar patches grow. Spirits return to this land with the streams flow. The sky shines brilliantly of reds and blues, harmony and balance becomes our muse. Moonlight, this kingdom aglow, now spirits at peace with the crow. No longer are futures foretold, these forests, our silver and gold. Transform, look the skies, true beauty, reflects in your eyes. No longer your future’s foretold. These forests your silver and gold.
