Every winter in the city, my mind is rotting away, and every moment at this desk feels like a lifetime I’m afraid. Like old branches from old forests, I’ve been hiding away. Spring warms this grey city, we’ve got no need for shade. A friend once told me that my feet never really touched anything but old concrete, well now and then it digs too deep, rotting inside out let’s build it up from underneath. Well we will walk along the river, searching for the campfires where we will meet. Outside the grass is growing taller, so buddy why are you still walking on the street?
